Remember The Sabbath
Please join us in worship this Sunday as we continue our amazing series on the “Ten Commandments”. We will look at and discuss the 4th commandment: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” In preparation, read and study Exodus 20:1-11 with a focus on verses 8-11. Also, turn back in your bible to Genesis and read chapter 2 verses 1-3. We will examine this commandment’s historical context, the Old Testament instruction and meaning, and then move to the New Testament commentary to see how this important command related to the early church and to the church today.
