Joy in the Desert
On Sunday Pastor Chris will continue our deeper dive into Jesus’s “High Priestly Prayer”. Our focus will be on verse 13 where our Christ speaks of the “Joy” He wants to share in us. As you read and research in your own study time, take note of how many times in scripture Jesus mentions joy in the gospels. Ask these questions: 1) Why do we so often feel joy-challenged? 2) What is Jesus’s joy? 3) What does it look like to fulfill His joy in our lives? Pray for insight from the Holy Spirit as we ask for Jesus’s prayer to yield the joy He desires for His redeemed!
