On Sunday, we will continue to discern and study the depth of each of the Ten Commandments. Pastor Chris will give us a deeper understanding of why God chose “Honor your father and your mother” to be the 5th commandment. We will discuss: What does it mean to honor your father and your mother? If the Commandments are words of life, what is it about honoring our parents that is so tightly connected with life in its fullest sense? If the scriptures teach that folly is bound up in the heart of a child, how will we ever shape their hearts to produce honor? Please take some time this week in the Word contemplating these questions, as we seek His will in this commandment.
