Pastor Dave has decided to wear his purple shirt one more Sunday and conclude the series of Easter messages from Luke 24. Our focus this week will be on verses 36-53. As Jesus appeared before the disciples, he calmed their fears by speaking God’s Word in scripture and reminding them of what He had taught. From His lips, he proclaimed that “repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His name to all nations”. Then Jesus spoke of the coming of the Holy Spirit followed by the miracle of His ascension. Keep all of these themes in mind as you read and prepare for the message.
