On Sunday, we will turn to Genesis 22:1-18 in our bibles and look at the account of God’s test for Abraham and the sacrifice of Isaac. For Abraham, this truly was a trial of his faith and obedience. By being in God’s will, he knew there would be provision. His trust in God’s promise carried him through and he never doubted or faltered. As you read and study in preparation for the message, keep in mind how this story is a picture of the Father and the Son and the cross.
