You Shall Not Covet
We hope you can join us Sunday as Pastor Dave brings to us the concluding message of our summer series on the “Ten Commandments”. What an impact these messages have had on how we now perceive and understand with each commandment that God means to transform our hearts as He has shown us His heart. In preparing for this Sunday’s message, and our study of the 10th Commandment, please read the following selected scriptures along with reading once again Exodus 20:1-17: Matthew 15:18-19, Ephesians 5:1-5, Colossians 3:1-17. As we look at this 10th “word” and the command forbidding coveting, we are reminded of the role of the heart, not only in this commandment, but throughout the entire Decalogue.
Scripture References: Exodus 20:17
