Message: “You Shall Not Covet” from Dave Moyer

This Sunday, we will focus on the sixth commandment “You shall not murder”. In preparation, please read Exodus 20:1-17 and also Matthew 5:21-26. In the sixth commandment, we see not only the Lord’s concern for the dignity and protection of human life, but also a clear message on the inward condition of the heart. We will also look at the clear distinction in translations between the word “kill” and “murder”, and how that helps us understand the critical applications of the sixth commandment. Take time this week to meditate over these thoughts and scriptures.
