The Rock was Christ
As we continue in our summer series, “Christ in the Old Testament” this Sunday, we will look at our focus scripture of Exodus 17:1-7. In this account, the people of Israel were thirsting. God directed Moses to strike the rock which miraculously began to flow with “living water” for all to receive. As you read and study this section of scripture, think and pray for its deeper meaning and the spiritual thirst that is permanently quenched by the “living water” for those who believe in Jesus.
