Message: “The dangers of being blind to Jesus” from Ed Barnett

Sunday we will be opening our bibles to look at John 4:1-45, focusing on verses 19-24. This is the story of “Jesus and the Woman of Samaria”. We will explore what it looks like to have spirit-filled and truth-informed worship. In John 4, Jesus reveals that the style and location of corporate worship matter far less than the posture and preparation of the hearts of the gathered worshippers. Spirit and truth worship demands that the worshippers assemble, as they have since the early church, having prepared beforehand to honor God as one body. This week, ask the Holy Spirit what it would look like for you to experience both spirit-filled and truth-informed worship.
