A message from the series "1 Thessalonians." On Sunday Pastor Dave will return to our study in 1 Thessalonians with focus on chapter 4:1-8. This is the second half of Paul’s letter where he tells believers that they are called to holiness as they are sanctified by the will of God. Paul moves to this theme that a life that is pleasing is a life that is pleasing to God. Please take some quiet time this week to read and prayerfully process these verses in reflection to where you are in God’s will to be holy.

A message from the series "The Church\'s Identity." This Sunday we will look at a proclaiming section of scripture, 1 Peter 2:9. As you read and study this verse, keep in mind that Peter is exalting God for choosing us to be His own. Not for the purpose of pride or position, but to proclaim the praises of Him who has done great things for us. The church is an identity. It is something we should BE vs something we should DO.

A message from the series "1 Thessalonians." On Sunday Pastor Dave will take us to 1 Thessalonians 2:17-3:13. In these verses, you will hear and feel Paul’s loving and pastoral heart for the local church in Thessalonica. As he longs to be with them face to face, he continues to pray day and night. Even though he was unable to go to them, he still sought to nourish and protect them sending his faithful servant Timothy. What joy he felt as reports of faithfulness came back to him. Valuable lessons for us to learn from.

A message from the series "Matthew." As promised, we are returning to our study through the book of Matthew. Pastor Dave has purposefully brought us back taking a journey up to Easter Sunday, through the last days of Christ and His path to the cross. The attached scripture text is Matthew 26.

He focused on vss. 1-13 in Matthew 26 which as Charles Spurgeon stated is entering the “Holy of Holies of the Lord’s life on earth”. This section of scripture is the “theological picture of the anointing of Christ for His death”.

A message from the series "Easter." This Sunday Pastor Dave will continue teaching an overview of Matthew 26-28, focusing on chapter 28, vss. 1-10.

A message from the series "Easter." On Sunday Pastor Dave will be bringing to us the final message of the Easter series. Our focus will be on the powerful portion of scripture in Matthew 28:16-20. In these verses, Jesus proclaims the authority that has been given Him, then giving His disciples the “Great Commission.”

This past Sunday Pastor Dave drew from the writings in the “40 Days of Prayer” and put these questions before us as we understand our “mission”. How will we use our time? Are you praying for and seeking out conversations with non-believers? Are you going or are you sitting? Are you too busy doing Christian things, activity without productivity?
