A message from the series "Behind the Veil." As Pastor Chris returns from an exciting week at Mt. Top Bible Camp, he will be giving us a glimpse of what the kids have learned! His lessons will have included rich teachings from Genesis 6:1-9:17, the story of “Noah and the Flood”. As you read and prepare for his message, keep in mind our message series theme, “Christ in the Old Testament”. This is more than a story about an ark and a flood. It is a story of a faithful man and the saving grace of our Lord.

A message from the series "Behind the Veil." This Sunday, Pastor Dave will have us in Exodus where God said to Moses, “And let them (people of Israel) make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst”. As you read Exodus 25-27, familiarize yourselves with the blueprints of the tabernacle. Then continue in your bible to read of the construction of the tabernacle, Exodus 35-40. Study and pray as to why this event played such a critical place in the worship of God’s people.

A message from the series "Behind the Veil." As we continue in our summer series, “Christ in the Old Testament” this Sunday, we will look at our focus scripture of Exodus 17:1-7. In this account, the people of Israel were thirsting. God directed Moses to strike the rock which miraculously began to flow with “living water” for all to receive. As you read and study this section of scripture, think and pray for its deeper meaning and the spiritual thirst that is permanently quenched by the “living water” for those who believe in Jesus.

A message from the series "Behind the Veil." Our message series “Christ in the Old Testament” will continue Sunday with a focus scripture of 1 Peter 2:4-8. In this text, the book of Isaiah is quoted, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone.” God is telling us that in His grand plan there is the one main building block, Jesus Christ the “Living Stone”, on which a new spiritual temple will be built one believer at a time. Take time this week praying over this scripture and other related references in your bible.

A message from the series "Behind the Veil." On Sunday, we will continue with the message series, “Christ in the Old Testament.” Pastor Chris will take us to Romans 5:12-21. In this scripture, we have “one man” the First Adam and the Last Adam, “one man” Jesus Christ. The first Adam was given dominion over the old creation; he sinned and lost his kingdom. Jesus Christ the Last Adam came as King over a new creation and undid all the damage that the First Adam’s sin effected. As you read, pray, and study over this portion of God’s word, keep in mind how in God’s plan Jesus Christ was the preeminent even as events in the Garden played out.

A message from the series "Behind the Veil." This Sunday, Pastor Dave will continue with the message series, “Christ in the Old Testament.” We will turn to Isaiah 6. In preparation, please read in its entirety. When praying and studying keep this theme in mind, “I saw the Lord high and lifted up” and ask this question, when Isaiah saw the Lord who did he see?

A message from the series "Behind the Veil." This past Sunday, Pastor Dave kicked off a new summer series “Christ in the Old Testament” exalting Jesus in all scripture. Scripture is the “means to the end and the end is knowing and exalting Jesus”. On Sunday, we will continue by turning to Genesis 3:1-15. When Adam and Eve sinned, they lost more than a garden. They lost the name that God had given them as image bearers. In their shame they hid from God. The Lord God came calling, not with anger and wrath alone, but with a promise of a Name above all names that would crush the serpent. The first gospel promise (3:15) leads us to Jesus, who restores to us the name of “Child of God”.

A message from the series "Behind the Veil." The message from Pastor Dave this Sunday will be the kick-off of the summer series. All of scripture from Genesis to Revelation is the story of Jesus Christ. This message will focus on exalting Christ in the Old Testament. Our scripture reading will be 2 Timothy 3:13-17. Please take some quiet time this week reading and studying in preparation for our time together in the Word.

A message from the series "A Spirit-Filled Home." On Sunday, we will continue with part two of the mini-series “A Spirit-Filled Home” from Ephesians 6:1-4. This past Sunday, we looked at “A Word to Children”. Now we will look at “A Word to Parents”. Pastor Dave encourages you to read in your bible the entire chapter of Deuteronomy 6 keeping a special focus on verses 4-9. A command that must first live in the heart of the parent and then be communicated to the children, the next generation. Take some special time this week reading and praying over these portions of God’s Word.
