Jesus, Our Great High Priest
This Sunday, Pastor Dave will have us look in Hebrews where a central theme is the “Priesthood of Jesus Christ”. As you read and study our selected scripture, chapter 4:14 – 5:10, here are some questions you might ask. In Exodus 28, Aaron was chosen by God to be “high priest”, selected from men to minister for men. His main task was to offer sacrifices acceptable to God. What makes Jesus Christ our “High Priest” different? If you want to dig a little deeper, what does it mean when God said, “You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek”?
