Message: “I Saw the Lord… High and Lifted Up!” from Dave Moyer

This past Sunday, Pastor Dave kicked off a new summer series “Christ in the Old Testament” exalting Jesus in all scripture. Scripture is the “means to the end and the end is knowing and exalting Jesus”. On Sunday, we will continue by turning to Genesis 3:1-15. When Adam and Eve sinned, they lost more than a garden. They lost the name that God had given them as image bearers. In their shame they hid from God. The Lord God came calling, not with anger and wrath alone, but with a promise of a Name above all names that would crush the serpent. The first gospel promise (3:15) leads us to Jesus, who restores to us the name of “Child of God”.
