Praying in Desperate Times

This Sunday we will hear message #4 in the series “Sacred Conversations”. Our study scripture will be 1 Samuel 1:15. In this section Hannah “a woman of grace” in her anguish of being barren went to the tabernacle to pray. Her suffering was made only to the Lord. Hannah was pouring herself out to God in a prayer of submission and sacrifice so much so that Eli the priest thought her to be drunk. As you read this story in 1 Samuel, ask if your own prayers connect with God at a heart level in a similar way as to the prayer of Hannah.
